Before Your Tan

​

Hair removal: Wax at least 48 hours before. Shave 12–24 hours before your appointment.

Exfoliate: Gently exfoliate 12-24 hours before your tan.

Avoid: Fragranced/mineral oil products, AHA/BHA and retinol 24 hours before and after your tan.

Hair washing: Avoid washing your hair immediately before your appointment where possible.

What to wear: Wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and slides/open-toe shoes. Avoid tight clothing, silk and satin.

Rain: If rain is forecast, bring an umbrella, towel and long clothing to protect your tan on the way home.

On the Day

Don't shower right before your appointment. Shower at least 8 hrs prior.

Skin must be clean:

Arrive with clean, product-free skin. Avoid moisturiser, deodorant, makeup and perfume on the day.

After Your Tan

​

Avoid friction against your skin whilst tan develops

 

Wait til your recommended rinse time before showering.

 

Rinse with lukewarm water. Pat dry.

 

Moisturise daily from day after

 

Limit pool and hot tub use

 

Avoid shaving/exfoliating until it's time to remove your tan.

 

Wear loose, dark clothing and open shoes.

Avoid tight clothes/bra to prevent marks. If raining: cover up with an umbrella
